Who We Are.

Irina Marinescu

After completing her master studies in Architecture at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism _UAUIM in Bucharest and at The Superior Technical School of Architecture _ETSAM, Irina discovered a love for the wider design spectrum, with a high passion for both the built environment as well as the contiguous visual fields such as illustrations, product design and photography.

During the 10 years accumulated experience, Irina developed a multidisciplinary approach to each project. She coordinated residential and commercial projects, ranging from small outlets to large residential complexes before becoming a Founding Partener at ML. Studio Architecture &Design in 2019.

She loves tackling the different challenges that reside in every new project, having an interdisciplinary, precise and organised approach to every design brief.

Horia Lupan

With more than 10 years of professional experience, gathered in 3 Bucharest based architecture offices, achieving expertise in a variety of architectural programs, from residential, to office, commercial or services, Horia founded his own Individual Architectural Bureau in the beginning of 2018, and became a partner in ML.Studio Architecture &Design in June 2019.

Horia combines the perfect balance of imagination and pragmatism, and he’s fascinated by the path from one to the other, or – in more architectural terms – from initial sketch to finished building.

He is a firm believer in collaboration with clients, with stakeholders, and with the people who will be enjoying our buildings for years to come.
